Day 1 – Arrival & Transfer to Negombo
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and meet your tour guide. Transfer to Negombo, a coastal town famous for its fishing culture and beaches. Visit the Negombo Fish Market and Dutch Canal, then relax on the beach and enjoy the sunset. Overnight stay in Negombo.
Day 2 – Negombo to Sigiriya
After breakfast travel to Sigiriya in the Cultural Triangle. On the way visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage where you can see rescued elephants. In the afternoon climb the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its ancient frescoes and stunning views. Overnight stay in Sigiriya.
Day 3 – Sigiriya & Polonnaruwa Tour
After breakfast visit the ancient city of Polonnaruwa and explore its impressive ruins, temples, and statues. In the evening enjoy a traditional village tour experience with a bullock cart ride and local Sri Lankan food. Overnight stay in Sigiriya.
Day 4 – Sigiriya to Kandy
After breakfast visit the Dambulla Cave Temple before heading to Kandy. Stop at a spice garden in Matale to learn about Sri Lanka’s spices and herbal plants. In Kandy visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, walk around Kandy Lake, and enjoy a cultural dance show. Overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 5 – Kandy Exploration
After breakfast visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. Later explore the Kandy city area including local markets, viewpoints, and gem museums. Spend the evening relaxing in this historic hill city. Overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 6 – Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast travel through scenic tea plantations and waterfalls to Nuwara Eliya, also known as “Little England.” Visit a tea factory and tea plantation to see how world-famous Ceylon tea is produced. Explore Gregory Lake and the colonial town. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 7 – Nuwara Eliya to Ella
After breakfast travel to Ella enjoying one of the most beautiful hill country journeys. Visit the famous Nine Arch Bridge and climb Little Adam’s Peak for breathtaking views. Spend the evening relaxing in the peaceful mountain town. Overnight stay in Ella.
Day 8 – Ella Exploration
After breakfast explore Ella further. Visit Ella Rock or enjoy the stunning scenery of tea plantations and waterfalls. Spend the day enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of this popular hill country destination. Overnight stay in Ella.
Day 9 – Ella to Yala
After breakfast travel from Ella to Yala. On the way visit the famous Ravana Falls. In the afternoon enjoy an exciting wildlife safari at Yala National Park where you may spot elephants, leopards, crocodiles, and many other animals. Overnight stay near Yala.
Day 10 – Yala to Bentota
After breakfast travel towards the southern coast. On the way visit the historic Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its colonial architecture and charming streets. Continue to Bentota and relax by the beach. Overnight stay in Bentota.
Day 11 – Bentota Leisure Day
After breakfast enjoy a relaxing day in Bentota. Visit a turtle hatchery in Kosgoda and take a Bentota River boat safari through mangroves where you can see birds and wildlife. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the beach or water sports. Overnight stay in Bentota.
Day 12 – Bentota to Colombo & Departure
After breakfast travel to Colombo. Enjoy a city tour including Independence Square, Gangaramaya Temple, and Galle Face Green. Later transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure flight.
